Bayport Marina Association — Bayport, MN

Media & Marketing Manager, 2013 to Present

Lead overall marketing strategy development and execution. Accountable for brand building, marketing, social media engagement, content development, photography, website development, and public relations.

Key Achievements:

➢    Dramatically grew guest reservations 62% within first year through effective marketing approach that reframed the marina as a resort and destination.

➢    Designed and project managed the website re-design from inception through completion.

➢    Effectively project managed trade show events and booth at Minneapolis Boat Show, which featured multimedia presentations, giveaways, and prizes to attract booth traffic.

➢    Through extensive marketing and promotion BMA was awarded “Boater’s Choice - Best Destination & Resort” in both 2015 and 2016 from Marinas.com – a global marina directory and website.

➢    Awarded Constant Contact All-Star Award (2014, 2015, 2016) for effective email marketing, and achieving up to a 75% open rate (21% is the industry average). The Child Friendly Faith Project — Austin, TX (Remote)

Provides leadership for strategy and daily operational management for an inter-faith organization focused on supporting faith communities in their efforts to protect and nurture children. Accountable for coaching current staff and volunteers, marketing, branding, and website management, as well as overseeing staff and annual budget.
